Pilot Training

Overview

Lanseria International Airport

The ability to train and fly from a busy international airport, contributes volumes to a student pilot's confidence. At some point in your flying career you will be required to fly through extremely busy airspace and land at large airports.

Early exposure to and experience with these exact conditions, contributes invaluable skill and situational awareness to your flying ability. And remember that all of us, even your instructors, are constantly learning. Be prepared for a lifelong enrolment to the institution known as "Aviation". Your flying education has only begun once you have qualified. It never stops.

In association with Foster Aero International, the Flight Academy is situated at Lanseria International Airport. Studies have named Lanseria International the busiest airport in Africa.

From the start you will be training amongst professional organisations based at this growing airport. Students will train amongst Boeing 737 airliners daily, as well as private jets, turbo prop, helicopter and other training aircraft.

The airport is a favourite point of entry for foreign dignitaries and Heads of State. It is not unusual to see Boeing 727 and 767 airliners on the apron. The operating environment at Lanseria exposes students to the varied career avenues available to aspirant commercial pilots.

Introductory Flights

Please feel free to book your introductory flight with us. New students will be given the chance to fly with an instructor and experience the sensation of flying an aircraft for the first time. This is the best way of determining your level of enthusiasm for flying. The small initial cost is certainly worth every cent, whether you decide to proceed or not.

Introductory Flight Vouchers are available for purchase, should you wish to sponsor someone that may be interested in experiencing a flight for the first time.
