Overview

Nungu Game Lodge is set softly in the lush Waterberg mountain range. You will find that nature's splendour and the Nungu vision allows your soul to share the magic of Africa in its purest form.

A approximate 320km drive from the bustling beat of Johannesburg takes you into a world of serenity where nature and luxury meet. Then you discover it... Africa and all its magic in motion. Nungu is a vision of all that Africa is meant to be.

Majestic animals weaving through lush bush, the soothing rhythm of the Mokolo River, panoramic glory from Eagle's View and sunsets that will beckon to your every sense. Sunrises gently ease you into the promise of another day in Africa where nature again implores you to believe, to live and to be one... Africa.

Accommodation

Nungu Suites

Four spacious freestanding suites are available, each privately positioned on the banks of the Mokolo River. Luxuriously appointed, each glass fronted suite has a mini bar fridge, safe, telephone, in and outdoor shower, air conditioner, a deck with breathtaking views and a private heated plunge pool. Suites can accommodate 2 guests.

Nungu House

Nungu House can host up to four guests. Enjoying its own position along the river bank, the double story Nungu House boasts river views from either of the two decks and has a heated plunge pool. The main bedroom is en-suite and has a private lounging and dressing area, as well as a full length balcony.

The lower level is beautifully decorated and includes a superbly appointed second bedroom, a fully equipped bathroom, as well as a guest toilet. A spacious lounge leads onto the lower deck and pool. The suite has kitchen facilities and guests can if they wish, enjoy meals prepared by the Chef in the privacy of their own suite.

Fig Tree Suites

Two spacious freestanding suites are available, each privately positioned overlooking the Mokolo River – stylishly appointed, each suite offers a spacious living area, on-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and bedroom. This lodge is ideally suited to honeymoon couples or families of four... all seeking to enjoy their own small piece of Africa beneath the fig trees.

Itinerary

The following itinerary is suggested for groups:

Day 01

• Arrival at reception under the Marula trees & check in
• Game drive with cheese and wine tasting at Eagle View outlook point
• Evening dinner at the lodge

Day 02

• Early morning game drive (Optional)
• Breakfast at the lodge
• Conference until 16h00
• Game drive followed by interactive culinary cooking evening with the chef at the main lodge

Day 03

• Early morning game walk with a breakfast at the River bed (weather permitting) or at Fig Tree
• Anti Rhino Poaching team building activity
• Afternoon / Evening game drive followed by boma dinner with an African Theme evening

Day 04

• Early morning game drive / walk, tea & coffee at Outlook point
• Breakfast at the bridge (weather permitting)
• Depart
